The database presented hereby contains terms, term combinations, keywords and key expressions from all 20 fields of the acquis communautaire in Bulgarian, English, French and German. The database is created in cooperation with the Institute for Bulgarian Language at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

The database resulted from the process of translation and revision of the Primary and Secondary European legislation in Bulgarian that was accomplished by the Translation and Revision Centre regarding the accession of Republic of Bulgaria to the European Union.
The development of the database as a multilingual electronic system for specific information search is part of the Project “Enhancement of the knowledge and the awareness of the officials from the State administration to work with the European Union legislation” implemented under the Operational Programme “Administrative Capacity”, co-financed by the European Union through the European Social Fund.
