General project goal:

Creating and strengthening the conditions for the functioning of the Translation and Revision Centre as a terminology centre for the purpose of structuring and updating the terminology database in the field of the EU legislation (acquis) in Bulgarian, and organising trainings to improve the skills of the officials from the central, regional and municipal administrations to work with the acts of the European legislation in the process of its implementation.

Specific project goals:

• creating conditions for the functioning of the Translation and Revision Centre as a terminology centre, by reorientation of part of its activity and conducting study and implementing the experience and the good practices of other EU Member States;

• studying, harmonizing and creating conditions to impose uniform terminology in the field of the EU legislation (acquis) in Bulgarian;

• qualitative improvement of the knowledge of the officials from the structures of the central, regional and municipal administrations to work with European legislation acts and with the terminology databases of the EU institutions.
